The STIHL GTA 40 cordless brushcutter is ideal for tree and shrub maintenance, professional gardening and landscaping work, and processing wood and wood-like materials on construction sites. The basis for a clean cut and fast work progress is the particularly powerful EC motor and the STIHL 1/4" PM3 saw chain. The speed-dependent, automatic chain lubrication is another advantage of the STIHL GTA 40. For precise handling, the cordless brushcutter has an ergonomically shaped control handle with hand guard and an upper handle for the second hand. It is shaped in such a way as to prevent slipping as much as possible. The claw-shaped deflector geometry attached in front also visually and haptically separates the upper handle area from the cutting attachment. The mechanical operating system with rocker switch on both sides, the variably adjustable chain speed, the chain sprocket cover with side chain tensioning and the LED charge level indicator are further advantages of the GTA 40. Not to be forgotten: the steel attachment eyes on both sides for attaching a fall protection device – for example, when climbing trees for maintenance.

The GTA 40 cordless brushcutter is designed for professional applications and for daily use, even in adverse weather conditions. It therefore has certified splash protection. Its effectiveness has been proven by rigorous internal testing. The splash protection of the STIHL GTA 40, which has already been proven in internal tests, has also been certified according to IPX4 protection class.
